I don’t know how Streething’s Julian Loh did it, but he was able to take the first detailed shots of the forthcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2. So without further ado, it’s time to check out an actual production pair for the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum colorway.
Clearly inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology, some of the design notes include Horus (the god of the Sky, War and Protection) on the tongue, pyramid-shaped holes on the inner side of the shoe and hieroglyphics hidden under the velcro forefoot strap. Other details include glow-in-the-dark soles, a leather lace toggle and chunky metal lace tips.
If you want to get your hands on a pair, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 drops this spring at select retailers worldwide for a suggested retail price of $250.
