It was only a matter of time before Parra got his first U.S. museum show. I’m just happy it’s taking place in my current city of residence. Parra: Weirded Out opens this Saturday at SFMOMA, and features an expansive mural which extends across the 60-foot wall of the museum’s second-floor landing.
Parra “The Vengeance Machine” Pocket Notebook
In conjunction with his upcoming exhibition at SFMOMA, Parra has partnered with CS Editions on an awesome new pocket-sized notebook. With a laminated cover and double saddle-stitched spine, the notebook features 48 pages of smooth, off-white paper with no bleed through. There’s also a short artist bio on the back inside cover.
