I’ve been a fan of Wes Anderson since he directed Rushmore in 1998, and these commercials for the 2012 Hyundai Azera prove he can do just about anything. Already with commercial work for American Express, Stella Artois and Ikea under his belt, Anderson shot both of these 30-second spots as only he can, creating worlds within themselves.

While the final product aired during the Academy Awards, hardly anyone has seen the following footage from behind the scenes. And if you missed them on Sunday, you can see “Modern Life” and “Talk to My Car” during the final 30 seconds of each video.
