Don’t say I didn’t warn you. What started with a courtside interview in Oklahoma City has led to today’s official announcement that Kate Upton is the inaugural member of Skullcandy‘s Supermodel Crew.

“I’m a long-time fan of Skullcandy and can’t wait to unveil some of the fun things we have planned,” says Upton. “I’m thrilled to be on the Skullcandy roster alongside many of the world’s best athletes and artists.”

First up for Kate is a short film and photo shoot produced earlier this month in Oklahoma City with Kevin Durant and James Harden from Skullcandy’s NBA Crew. Her multi-year contract with Skullcandy gives the brand all-access in the form of advertising, exclusive content, social media and events, so expect more things to be in the works. The rest of the Supermodel Crew will be revealed next month.
