Saint Alfred x Vans Vault Chukka LX

No strangers to collaboration, Chicago-based boutique Saint Alfred has once again teamed up with Vans Vault to create one of the best releases this fall. Using the Vans Chukka as the canvas, Saint Alfred modified the classic silhouette for the perfect Midwest autumn afternoon – whether it’s on foot or by skate. To prevent a pavement slip and give more tread, the shoe was built on a reverse waffle sole. And to battle the conditions, the paneling is constructed with a resin coated canvas treatment to repel water, while the inner lining features a premium leather. Three different laces are also provided: a hiking lace, a red waxed lace and black waxed lace.

If you want to get your hands on a pair, the Saint Alfred x Vans Vault Chukka LX will be available exclusively at Saint Alfred, KICKS/HI and Bodega on October 6 for $110. A select number of pairs will also be available in their online store. Overall, the collaboration is limited to 200 pairs.
