The City

When you’re one of New York City’s top AAU teams, the pressure to succeed comes from all angles. But the beauty of the summer circuit is that unlike your high school, you’re able to compete around the country. The City, a new web series following a U15 team of the same name, takes you on a journey toward this summer’s national championship. And through the eyes of the players, coaches and parents – as well as narration from Kemba Walker – you’re able to relive all the action. Directed and produced by New York filmmaker Eric Newman, who just so happens to be a close friend and collaborator of mine, this series is one you won’t want to miss.
