There is no substitute for quality craftsmanship. So if you can build something designed to last for years, you’re going to stand out from the pack. OSC Cross coats are not only waterproof, windproof and warm, they’re also sealed with a lifetime warranty. The sister brand of expedition outerwear giant Outdoor Survival Canada, OSC Cross maintains three simple tenets: an appreciation for good design, decades of expertise in the industry and a commitment to their valued patrons.
For their Fall/Winter 2013 collection, OSC Cross looks to the Maritimes – otherwise known as New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Inspired by their seaside towns, iconic neighborhoods and striking scenery, the look and feel are echoed in the line’s modern cuts, oceanic colors and mix of cotton-blended fabrics. And in celebration of their second collection, the brand has designed a limited edition print – affectionately called “The Painted Fishmonger” – featured on their forthcoming Lacombe Jacket. As you can see below in the photographs from Gemma Warren, the print is a mélange of Victorian floral paintings combined with common Atlantic fish market finds. The result is a kaleidoscope of historical elegance and everyday commonality.
While the Fall/Winter 2013 collection doesn’t drop until later this year, the Fall/Winter 2012 collection is available now at their online shop and select stockists worldwide.
